href=\"http:\/\/redd.mma.gov.br\/images\/central-de-midia\/pdf\/artigos\/Informativo-REDD-n-info-4.pdf\"><b>Warsaw Framework for REDD+ (2013)<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was created to establish the requirements for the recognition of mitigation results in the forestry sector and for obtaining payments for countries\u2019 REDD+ results at the national level.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this mechanism, proven reductions in forestry carbon emissions are rewarded with \u201c<\/span><b>payments for results<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d. These payments are made for mitigation results, measured in equivalent tons of CO2, and channeled through various international sources, particularly the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenclimate.fund\/\"><b>Green Climate Fund <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(GCF).
