Ombudsman’s Office

The Ombudsman’s Office of the REDD+ Tocantins Jurisdictional Program aims to strengthen transparency and social participation, guarantee the effectiveness of the Program’s actions, prevent and mitigate negative impacts, in addition to contributing to the continuous improvement of the Program, strengthening the dialogue between the administration and society.

Contact the ombudsman:

  • At any sign that something in the execution of the projects is not going well;
  • If the actions taken brought any risk to communities, traditional and indigenous peoples, family farmers and rural producers, or deviated from what was communicated or agreed;
  • To report environmental crimes, misconduct and any other problem;
  • To suggest program program improvements or praise.
